Arkansas has not maintained divorce records until January 1923. You can get the copy of the divorce records from the County Clerk, where divorce was recorded. Arkansas Vital records also issue a copy of divorce certificate in paper form. The divorce rate was 9.0 per 1000 in the year 1994.

Arkansas divorce records can be obtained only by specific persons, who are related to the concerned parties. The requestor needs to give exact details, which include full name of husband, full name of wife, month, day and year of divorce, city or county, where the divorce was recorded, type of final decree, the relationship of the requestor to the concerned parties and the reason for which the divorce record is required. The name and address of the requestor, his/her driver license number and a daytime telephone number should also be provided.

In order to obtain Arkansas divorce records, the requestor needs to make payment by check or money order payable to Arkansas Department of Health. Making payment by cash is not allowed.
