These records contain vital information including the name of the deceased, date and place of death, name of the physician who attended and parent’s name. Georgia death certificates after the year 1919 can be accessed at the Vital statistics section of the Georgia Division of Public Health. You must contact this office either in person or through mail along with a request letter signed by you, one photo ID issued by a government agency and the processing fee.
