Idaho is one of the important states in the United States. Boise is the capital of this state. It is a mountainous state, bordered by six states and one Canadian province (British Columbia). Chronic lower respiratory disease and stroke are the primary reasons for deaths in the state of Idaho. According to a survey taken in 2006, the rate of deaths caused by stroke in Idaho was 52.2. Idaho death records are maintained by the Bureau of Vital Records and Health Statistics from the year 1947. Death certificates are confidential in the state for fifty years. Only the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, grandparent, grandchild or sibling), their legal representative, or the legal guardians of the deceased person can obtain a certified copy of death certificate. The requestor should complete the application form to obtain a copy of Idaho death papers and submit it to the Bureau of Vital records along with the check or money order for the fee. He/she should specify the name of the deceased person, date of death, place of death, his/her relationship to the deceased person, number of copies and the purpose of the certificate.
