The center has divorce papers from 1947.

To lookup Idaho divorce records, it costs $13 for a computer generated copy, or $18 for a photo static copy.

Idaho is a landlocked state surrounded by the states of Nevada, Washington, Utah, Oregon and Wyoming. English is the official language of the state. Snake River, Salmon River and the Clearwater River are the most prominent rivers in Idaho.

The number of divorces is increasing year after year in Idaho. In the year 2006, 7,392 divorces were granted in the state. The rate is higher in Ada County, Idaho. The Bureau of Vital records and Health statistics began to keep divorce records from the year 1947. Idaho divorce records are issued only to the immediate family members (children, grandchildren or parent of husband or wife). Divorce certificates become public records only after 50 years from the date of event.

The requestor should fill the application form correctly, which include the details like full name of husband, full name of wife, date in which the divorce was granted, city and number of copies required. The requestor should provide a photocopy of his/her driver’s license or any other legal picture identification. He/she should pay the required fees by drawing a check or money order in favor of the Bureau of Vital Records. Credit cards are also accepted to get a certified copy of Idaho divorce papers.
