This office keeps records of divorces from July 1, 1951. The state issues a certified divorce copy for the fee of $15.00, which is the five year fee record.  But this office does not furnish the divorce decree, which can be obtained from Clerk of the District Court, where the divorce was sought. These records are not public records, hence authorization is important.
