Mississippi Death Records MS:

Mississippi Public Info

Mississippi is state which is found in the southern part of the United States of America. The name of the state is kept because of the presence of the Mississippi River, as it flows through western boundary of the state. The climate in the state of Mississippi is humid, very subtropical climate due to which the summers are long and the winters are short but mild. The state is heavily forested with about half of the area covered by wild trees.

All the Mississippi death certificates have been moved to the State Department of Health. Although there is slight glitch the deaths occurring from the year 1912 were the only one’s which were recorded, because the law in the state of Mississippi did not allow it. There also other ways by which you can access these death records. The clerk of all the counties in the state has been given an email id which has been added on the website.

Now anyone who wants to know about the death records which can’t be found in the Department of Health can now email the clerk of that county. There is form which needs to be filled and the Department charges $15.00 USD for a certified copy and additional $5.00 USD for additional copies.
