Nevada Death Records NV:

Nevada Public Info

As you head for the west in US, you will come across the state of Nevada. Owing to the large number of silver deposits which were found in this state, it has been nicknamed as the Silver state. The largest city in the state is Las Vegas. The climate observed in the state is mostly desert and semiarid type. There are in total 17 counties that contribute to a population of 1,998,257 which is according to the census taken back in 2000.

The Nevada death papers were given importance from the year 1911, although prior to that year only a few counties had taken up the task of registering deaths. These records prior to the year 1911 are still kept in the county recorder’s office of that county. But all the records have been moved to the State of Nevada Health Division Bureau of Health Planning and Statistics office of Vital.

The person has to fill in an application form and send it to the Vital Records and Statistics Office. The cost for one certified copy of a death certified from the year 1911 onwards is $10.00 USD. Now there is also an online source for people. You can go to death-certificates.us/nevada and search the Nevada death certificates.
