Information about Nevada
Silver State

Capital: Carson City

It is the gambler’s utopia, the foodie’s smorgasbord, and the procrastinator’s dream come true. So whether it is the slot machines, the world-renowned restaurants, or a quick trip to the altar, Nevada offers a bit of something for everybody.

The hot, dry summers and mild winters also give Nevada an upper-hand in attracting tourism. For those who find themselves in this Silver State and can’t seem to attain the motivation to venture out on to the Las Vegas Strip, there are other places of interest such as Lake Tahoe, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and the Hoover Dam.

The crime rate is not as impressive as the Blackjack odds; Nevada has been ranked the most dangerous state in the nation, with property crime accounting for almost 90% of it. However, with the large amount of visitors entering and leaving the state on a daily basis, the statistics may not fairly portray the citizens of Nevada in a positive manner.
