It costs $15 for obtaining a Tennessee divorce certificate.

Some of the requirements as per the Tennessee divorce records law are, The spouse filing for divorce must be a resident of the state while the divorce is taking place and if  the incident as taken place outside the state of Tennessee , then one of the spouse must be a resident for six months before filing for divorce.

Under Tennessee divorce records law Code - Volume 6A, Title 36, Sections 36-4-104 and 36-4-105 both the spouses can file for the divorce in their resident county or the county in which the respondent resides or the county in which the petitioner resides.
