Wisconsin is a state located in the north-central United States. According to research a total of 17150 divorces occurred in Wisconsin in the year 2003. Divorce rate being 3.1 per 1000 population. Wisconsin divorce records are preserved by The Wisconsin Vital Records Office, which comes under The Wisconsin Department of Health Services. All records since October 1907 are available with the office. A particular amount is charged as search fee and for the first copy. Any extra copy requested at the same time has to be purchased with an extra fee per copy. According to rules, photo identification is mandatory. If you wish to obtain certified Wisconsin divorce certificates, then you must be either the person on record, a spouse of the person on record, parent, sibling, or a child of the person on record or you must have written authorization.
